We're delighted to have been nominated for an EA Masters Sales Award!

The EA Masters Awards are based on a rigorous whole-of-market assessment of every estate and lettings agent, undertaken by the Property Academy and supported by Rightmove. Being shortlisted puts PropertyWorld in the top 5% of agents in the UK, which in itself is reason for celebration! We're extremely proud of our hardworking and brilliant team. Winners will be announced in October.

On Friday 29th March Harris Primary Academy Kent House (located close-by our Penge office) PTA hosted a ‘Spring Fling’ to raise money for the school playground. PropertyWorld were delighted to sponsor their raffle to help raise funds.

"We had plants, cakes, Mother’s Day gifts and a human fruit machine. PropertyWorld kindly sponsored our children’s raffle. On Saturday 20th of April, the Penge Tourist Board, in association with the Penge Traders Association will be running an Easter Trail on and around the High Street.

The event will involve children collecting dinosaur egg stickers from participating shops and trading the stickers in at the end for a chocolate egg.

There will also be a disco for the children in the last venue, the Bridge House.

PropertyWorld is delighted to participate once again and we hope to see you and your little ones. We'll be well stocked with chocolate so make sure you pop by on your way to the disco!

This is a subject that comes up regularly for PropertyWorld as high street agents. TheAdvisory, the UK’s only dedicated independent consumer advice group for home sellers, has recently shared research* with some very interesting findings, concluding that the right high street agent can:

1. Increase viewing numbers by 48%

PropertyWorld hit the big 2-0 & so we invited those around us to join in the celebrations at Penge Day. The competition submissions were incredible, and Great British Bake Off Finalist Jane Beedle was on hand to select our winners, offering the unique prize of a baking tutorial together with winner of BBC’s Yes Chef! Regan Anderton.

It was a very memorable day, and now we are delighted to confirm that the event raised £300 for St Christopher’s Hospice.

As political and economic uncertainty around Brexit continues, the start of 2018 will not mark a new chapter for the London property market. Proving itself fairly resilient, transactions are likely to remain at current levels (possibly a little lower), with a steady 1-3% price increase predicted.

Despite a cautious market, the relatively low mortgage rates should remain, with any further interest level increases minimal. The Autumn Budget will boost affordability for First Time Buyers in the short-term, and further government investment in Help To Buy schemes will provide some support for sales.
