Sydenham Arts Festival
We have proudly supported the annual Sydenham Arts Festival since its inception in 2009. The Sydenham Arts Festival is an incredible celebration of arts, music, drama, comedy, films, poetry, children's events and visual arts hosted by local residents throughout the summer in local venues and parks. 2011 promises to be the biggest and best ever and Property World is delighted to be a main sponsor once again.
Sydenham Visual arts Trail
The Sydenham Visual Arts Trail showcases the best of visual art by local residents across two weekends in open studios across Sydenham. We have been the sole sponsor of this amazing event again since it's inception in 2009. As well as financial support, we convert one of our offices each year into a gallery for Lara Bowen, Dan's partner, to showcase her work as part of the Visual Arts Trail. As well as providing banners and promotional material across Sydenham, this year we will sign post each of the unique venues on the trail to maximise awareness for the event.
Sydenham International Music Festival
Sydenham is fortunate to be able to boast an international music festival of such pedigree and quality. Property World has been delighted to support the event for the last five years. The festival runs for a month each summer and showcases the very best international classical music ensembles and soloist talent. We sponsor the events held at the Dolphin Pub and this year we will support two concerts, Aquinas Piano trio and The Galliard Ensemble.
Spontaneous Productions
Spontaneous Productions are one of South London's fastest growing theatre companies and we have had the privilege of supporting a number of their productions over the last few years. These include The Three Musketeers in 2010 and A Midsummer's Nights Dream in 2009. Director Dan Crowley even trod the boards himself, memorably playing Flute in A Midsummers Nights Dream.
Blitz
Blitz was a musical celebration and tribute to the stoicism and bravery of Londoners during the Blitz, produced and presented by Sydenham residents and musicians Alex carter, Chris Lucas and Serge Pachnine.
